.....except that for effect it appears to grossly exaggerate the ratio of those killed in the cited conflicts to tose currently dying in Ukraine and is therefore a rather disingenuous attempt to score a political point.

More posturing probably but yes, this is utterly outrageous. The whole notion of destroying most (if not all) life on this planet is all the proof we need that psychosis dwells in the heart (or rather, the Ego) of humanity. Only psychopathic minds would develop such weapons in the first place. Such words are deeply troubling because who is to say they will not escalate tensions to a point where such scenarios become more likely? If humanity gets through to the other side of this conflict there surely needs to be a 'great reset': a 'new world order' - but not the one that the global elite allegedly has in mind, rather one that restores power to the people. We must hope that this is ultimately the good that comes out of this crisis.

If there is any truth to this story then there is hope.

One can hope there is some truth to this. The Russian people surely represent the best hope of ending this without further escalation, and if Putin's health really is failing, hopefully this happens before he becomes even more unstable.

Again, unbelievable that any individual believes they have a mandate to play God over not only other humans but all other life on this planet.

The series of podcasts linked below is well worth a listen. It details how much Russian money has been funded illegally and how major cities around the world including London have played their role in 'laundering' this dirty money to legitimise it over the last two decades or more. It is yet another illustration of how any society that centralises its infrastructure around money is ultimately corrupted by that money, which fuels Ego and therefore lacks any true morality. All the major banking corporations that looked the other way because they were getting a cut of the deal are ultimately culpable for the dystopia we have now reached in Ukraine and elsewhere. The greater implications of how such dirty money has disrupted global economies are something that can only be guessed at, but are perhaps worthy of further debate at a later date.

This proved to be a fascinating watch, and gave an insight into the subterfuge, disinformation and democratic opaqueness of cyber warfare, and how it could escalate into something far uglier. It's a very timely drama considering that it was presumably conceived far in advance of the onset of current hostilities in Ukraine.

This story suggests the first cracks are starting to appear in Moscow:

The Russian people are key to ending this war: a war many of them obviously never even wanted in the first place.
